Prime Minister Of Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu said ‘We are at War,’ after an attack by Hamas

Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu declared in a social media video that “We are at war .” After conducting a dreadful land,air, and sea assault on the nation on Saturday, the Palestinian  militant group Hamas infiltrated the southern border and began a major rocket fire from the  Gaza Strip.

More than 200 Israeli civilians have been killed and 1,200 injured, an Israeli security forces representative said. The Palestinian health ministry in Gaza said on Sunday morning that 256 people, including 20 children, had died and about 1,788 people were injured.

The Israeli army said that the fighters of the Gaza Strip had captured many civilians and soldiers, and within a few hours of the start of the operation, there had been fighting in southern Israel. Even while a number of nations, ranging from the United States to Israel’s Arab neighbors, are pleading with the combatants not to escalate the situation any further, a new day is already dawning in Gaza and Israel and it promises more violence.

According to Netanyahu, operations to “clear communities that have been infiltrated by terrorists” are already underway, and he has also ordered a call-up for reserve personnel. In a speech broadcast on television, Netanyahu also threatened to exact revenge on Hamas, the Palestinian militant group in charge of Gaza. “We will take mighty vengeance for this black day,” Netanyahu declared.

Residents in Gaza passed the night in darkness and fear as Israel cut off power to the region and increased its bombing of the densely populated enclave. The attacks leveled residential structures in downtown Gaza City, including a 14-story skyscraper housing dozens of flats and Hamas offices.

US President Joe Biden condemned the “unconscionable” attack by Hamas fighters and vowed to provide Israel with “what it needs to defend itself.” He assured Netanyahu, that the United States “stands with the people of Israel.”
“Israel has the absolute right to defend itself and its people.” Terrorist acts can never be justified, and my administration’s commitment for Israeli security is rock solid and unyielding,” Biden added.
Biden also cautioned Israel’s adversaries that “this is not the time for any party hostile to Israel to exploit these attacks in order to gain an advantage.” “The entire world is watching.”

Demonstrations in favor of Hamas were held around the Middle East, with Israeli and US flags and marchers carrying Palestinian flags in Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen.

Egypt is in negotiations with Saudi Arabia and Jordan to ease Palestinian-Israeli tensions, according to the Egyptian foreign ministry


Members of Iran’s parliament launched their session on Saturday by screaming “Death to Israel” and “Israel will be doomed, Palestine will be the conqueror.”


“Today’s operation created a new page in the field of resistance and armed operation against occupiers,” said Nasser Kanaani, spokesperson for Iran’s foreign ministry.
